Dwerve is a premium action game made by developer Half Human Games for PC. It mixes tower defense and dungeon-crawling in its core gameplay. In it, players will delve deep inside dwarven dungeons to uncover lost technologies that can help defeat the foe and save their kind.

Dwerve incorporates the dungeon-crawling experience of ARPGs like Torchlight II with the tactical approach to tower defense titles like Kingdom Rush. The result is a game that offers a lot of variety and challenge to its gameplay that is paired with beautiful pixel art graphics and presentation.

What's the story about?

Dwerve takes place in Mount Crowcrest, where a great nation of dwarves once lived, blessed by bountiful riches and resources. Due to their greed, they unknowingly unleashed the Gloomdark Horde that drove them out of their homes. Centuries have passed, but stories of this place remain, and one brave tinkerer dares to enter and explore its depths once more and unlock its secrets.

The game features multiple biomes to explore, each with hidden secrets to discover, puzzles to solve, and lore to immerse yourself in. Equip ancient artifacts to help you fight off waves of trolls and horrific creatures. Over a dozen turrets and traps are at your disposal to make fights more tactical. Each one even has a specific upgrade tree you can level up for greater effects.

Apart from its charming pixel graphics and art, the game also features dynamic lighting effects that change and react to various conditions and triggers during exploration and fights. Do note, however, that it's not available yet. Also, there is still no official announcement as to when it will be released outside of a planned 2022 target window. An interesting combination of gameplay elements
